This is at St. Dominic's Church in San Francisco. The lighting was ideal for this shot. However, the back side of the church was evenly lit. In Photoshop I set the blend mode to darken and brushed in color to put emphasis on the central stained glass window. Burning the edges would have resulted in a similar result but the brush adds a bit more softness to those darkened areas.
