Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. Michelle put this great sign up at home ... awesome surprise when I got home from a great printing presentation.

I went to a presentation at Dickerman prints this evening (http://www.dickermanprints.com/). These folks are great. Seth, the owner, gave us info on his place and Greg helped us get some prints out. I printed an archival 18x27 image I took in Nepal (this snap with my camera phone doesn't give the actual print justice). These folks are really competent and take their work seriously. Seth has been printing for over 40 years. I am looking forward to going back very soon.

I broke out my new radio remote this evening and had a little fun with a LED flashlight and a long exposure. I LOVE painting with light.

I had a photo shoot today with Trina. We worked on a variety of athletic images. I captured this down at Baker Beach.

These are quick camera phone shots that I felt had to be shared because of how momentous the occasion was. Today was my first experience cooking live crab. It was much easier than expected and resulted in a delicious feast. I didn't think there was much I could do to feel like more of a San Franciscan ... these crabs proved me wrong. Mmmmmm.

Yes, you are looking at super amazing cool fantastic fladidious (ok, I made that one up) concrete. The concrete has fiber optics imbeded in it and the light source is a projector.

I love capturing light streaks (i.e. dragging the shutter). There is always a suprise in the final image.

The streets are littered with Christmas trees. I love seeing all the trees out on the streets ... especially when they all are standing vertically, creating a mini urban forest.
