Elk Reserve

Look closely and you will see a couple of elk through the fog.

2010.05.30 - Point Reyes

Wildcat Camp

We stayed at Wildcat Camp for three nights.  We were just yards from the beach.  This was a great location.

Arch Rock

Arch Rock is hard to notice.  There are plenty of people up top but few venture down the rocky face to see the actual arch.  This is a photo taken through the arch.

Fresh to Salt Water

Alamere Falls is a (you guessed it) a waterfall that runs off a cliff and runs right into the Pacific.

Shadows in the Night Sky

Where the posts have been the last few days?  Well this photo is one of the first taken from an area where cell phones and computers do not get reception (I didn't carry a computer with me).  We had a FANTASTIC weekend at Point Reyes National Seashore.  About 3 months ago Michelle and I drove up to the visitor center to make our reservation.  It was well worth the advance effort.  We hiked about 26 miles, taking in the beauty this area has to offer.  It was a very relaxing time.  Cheers to Michelle, Lori & Patrick.

Enclosing

I was running off to a meeting this morning when by chace I looked up towards the sky . . . probably looking for any chance of rain.  This composition struck me with its strong geometry and patterns.

2010.05.21 - Banksy & Out To Dry

Out To Dry

I went for a stroll today and found one of the new Banksy pieces.  Don't know who Banksy is?  Try a search engine or http://www.banksy.co.uk/:

Banksy Hand

Thanks V for taking a photo of me with the full Banksy piece (at Commercial and Grant streets)

2010.05.17 - Looking Out

Looking Out

The bus, although full of interesting characters, becomes a monotonous part of daily life.  I like to look out, especially at the park, and watch as life literally passes by.

After Bath

I had a great time working with this model today in a San Jose studio.  I will see about posting some other images to this post once I go through everything.  This is a quick snap of Jacqueline waiting next to a door leading outside.

Crawl

I just got back from a quick camp trip at Big Basin (http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=540).  The banana slugs were out in force.  As you might conclude from the photo, the trip was a wet one.

2010.05.04 - Parking Here

Parking Here

I found myself in a high rise late this afternoon, looking out on a spectacular view.  Each time I looked out the windows at the expansive cityscape I found my attention being drawn to this garage, grey and bland.  It needed life.

'Samples Here'

You may have guessed it . . . another trip to Alemany Farmers Market. We have been naughty and haven't been to any farmers market in the last 3 weeks. We had been frequenting the Fillmore Farmers Market a lot and decided to mix it up. All of these were taken with my new Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens.
