You may have guessed it . . . another trip to Alemany Farmers Market. We have been naughty and haven't been to any farmers market in the last 3 weeks. We had been frequenting the Fillmore Farmers Market a lot and decided to mix it up. All of these were taken with my new Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Fillmore Market

In the past I have written about the farmers market in Alemany.  This is another great farmers market (http://www.thefillmoredistrict.com/dss_pages/dss_farmersmarket.html).  It is quite a bit smaller than the Alemany market but you can still find everything you need.

2009.11.14 - Farmers' Market

I love going to the Alemany Farmers' Market (http://www.sfgov.org/site/alemany_index.asp).  They have the best selection of fresh, in season, produce.  The farmers are typically small operations and have a real care for and pride in their fruits, vegitables, nuts, and flowers.  There is always some great entertainment available as well.  Today there was a man playing the steel drums and a woman who could really rock the hand saw (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_saw).  I can't wait until next Saturday rolls around.
