Baby Swan
Evidently this is a baby swan ... or so the waiter told us. It looks like a duck to me but I am no expert. The swan/duck was like a dog and kept begging (patiently) for food off of the table.

Water Rodeo
We stopped by Rodeo Beach today in Marin County and had fun watching all of the surfers.

Painted Ladies
These are some of the most famous homes in the U.S. ... the Painted Ladies off of Alamo Square in San Francisco.

Tiger Orchid
There are some great tiger orchids in the office. I took this with the camera phone and did a bit of photoshop work. Kudos to Kristen for pointing out them out ;-).

Pie
We checked out the Candlestick Park Antiques & Collectibles Faire today (http://www.candlestickantiques.com/). It is definitely smaller and less organized than the Alameda Antiques Faire but I think it will grow into something great.

Coyote
We went on a hike in Marin County today and on our way to Bon Tempe Lake we encountered this coyote. I had to throw on the 200mm quickly and got this photo of him looking right at us. He took off into the trees right after this shot.

I love photographing hula. Be sure to check out another hula post I made a little over a month ago:

Puka
To this day I still refer to a hole as a puka. When talking with others I have to make a concious effort to say hole. Puka is the Hawaiian word for hole.

New Life
Guess where we went today .... Alameda Antiques Faire!!!! Whooo hoooo! (http://www.antiquesbybay.com/default.asp) I love this faire. We ended up with a carrying case for Michelle's sewing gear and I picked up a couple of books. We determined that the taxidermy didn't quite fit our decor despite the wide range of options.
