Ah, that is one way to bring a smile to my face . . . the restoration of a historic building.
2009.11.28 - Notre Dame Football
I always love the ride back home (especially when someone else is driving and I can take a nap)
Every two years Notre Dame comes to Stanford and so far we haven't missed it.

2009.11.27 - Friday Thanksgiving
We started off the day by driving up to a winery to pick up something for dinner. The Dry Creek area is one of my favorite places to eat, drink and be merry.
We were treated to a rainbow once we made it to Windsor, CA.
2009.11.25 - One Day to T-Day
Morning
Afternoon (next to a very creative oven gettup)
Evening (at a friends' place with a great view of S.F. City Hall)
2009.11.23 - The 70's
The buses in San Francisco always make me feel like I have gone back in time (to the 70s). The bad imitation wood grain on the walls and the brown and beige seats reek of poor 70s design :-).
2009.11.21 - Tamalpais to Muir Woods
Today was a beautful day in one of my favorite local places. This was taken on a trail running from Mt. Tamalpais(http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=471) down to Muir Woods (http://www.nps.gov/muwo/index.htm). The woods looked extra verdant after yesterdays rainfall.

2009.11.20 - Sun Come Down To Me
For a brief moment we had sunshine downtown . . . unfortunately it didn't make it down into the depths between the buildings.
2009.11.18 - By It's Lonesome
We picked up this great piece (and its matching counterpart) at the Alameda Point Antiques & Collectibles Faire (http://www.antiquesbybay.com/) almost a year ago. We try to go to the faire as often as possible . . . it runs the 1st Sunday of every month. The faire is huge and we always walk away with something great.

2009.11.16 - Abstract Chair
I was at sick home and didn't make it outside. I looked around my home for something interesting and then realized I was sitting on it. This is a photograph detailing a chair I designed and made a few years back.
2009.11.15 - Vogue Theatre
The Vogue Theatre in Laurel Heights, San Francisco, is a favorite of mine. It is a tiny old theatre on Sacramento street (http://www.peerlessentertainment.com/VTWeb_Info.htm).
2009.11.14 - Farmers' Market
I love going to the Alemany Farmers' Market (http://www.sfgov.org/site/alemany_index.asp). They have the best selection of fresh, in season, produce. The farmers are typically small operations and have a real care for and pride in their fruits, vegitables, nuts, and flowers. There is always some great entertainment available as well. Today there was a man playing the steel drums and a woman who could really rock the hand saw (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_saw). I can't wait until next Saturday rolls around.

2009.11.12 - Light Writing
Hello! This is my my first time writing with light. I managed to take this in 20 seconds, F32, with a LED light. I also made a heart:
2009.11.10 A First Go
Welcome to the first of many photos. You can probably guess where this image came from.
I will be posting at least one photo a day. There may be instances when I am unable to post (like when I am hiking in the middle of nowhere). I will be sure to upload photos from those days once I get back. If you enjoy the photos by all means tell others about the site. Enjoy 'A Photographic Day'.
