I snapped this right as one person left the stair and another began to approach. I am often suprised by how quickly an opportunity reveals itself and then just as quickly vanishes away. It makes me appreciate all the more when the timing works out.

Some things look better in black and white. This building (the old US Mint) on 5th, between Mission and Market, street is one of them.
