2010.03.08 - Piano Fingers
Piano Fingers
I put my new flash to use for this shot. Otherwise a dark room, I reflected the light off of the white ceiling opened up to f/5.6 and took it at 1/50th of a second. Thankfully Michelle wasn't playing too fast. Click on the image for a large version where you can see clearly the ring I designed for her.

2010.01.16 - Model Shoot
I attended an off camera flash workshop today and had a great time. Here is a low-res sampling of photos I took:
Laura
Michael
Lindsay
Thank you so much to all of the models (Lindsay, Laura & Michael). Also big kudos to Christine who instructed us.
The group I shot with consisted of Nikon users. It was great teaming up with Ira & Lorrie. Their account can be found at: http://lightcipher.blogspot.com/2010/01/meetup-fun.html
The workshop I attended was through a Meetup.com group called 'Off camera flash photography'. A link to this group can be found here: http://www.meetup.com/off-camera-flash/
Thank you Christine Krieg for leading us (http://www.cksworld.com/, http://www.cksweddings.com/)
